The founder, Madhusudhan Shetty has industry experience of over 18 years and has trained more than 25,000 professionals across companies like Oracle,TVS Motors, First Source, Yokogawa, Transworks (Aditya Birla Group) etc
He graduated in science from National College, Bangalore and was among the top 3 at National Institute of Sales (NIS), batch of 1998, winning excellence awards in 2 of the 3 years of the PG Diploma course.It was here that the training bug bit him, while at NIS. He went on to join NIIT Technologies, as Software Sales Specialist handling Karnataka, Kerala & Goa as his territory.During 2000-01 when the business world was reeling under the dotcom-bust, many of his colleagues either lost their jobs or had to relocate but he was among the top performers for the company that year. This changed it all for him.For the second time in his career he topped sales during the year when the whole industry was under a crisis.In 1995-96, while still in college, he had led a team at a 20 year old real estate company to register their highest sales ever when the real estate market had crashed. 12th September 2001, the decision was made even though there were calls from the company’s top management’s to stay back. He resigned from the software sales job and became an entrepreneur to help companies achieve business success consistently, irrespective of the business climate or competition.Thus, Catalyst Training Services was born and incorporated later in June 2002.
